Other news- Victor is touring the US and will be joined by Keyboardist Steve Weingart.

Steve is also touring Japan with Simon Phillips soon.

Caught up with David Witham (Keyboards, Piano) 2 days ago and we had a chat about his new CD Spinning The Circle, out now on Cryptogramophone. This will be a Bitches Brew special in the coming weeks, as well as a Podcast on this site.

Saw both Lee Ritenour and Stanley Clarke -George Duke here in Melbourne last week.

The shows were amazing to say the least.

Look out for drummer Ronald Bruner jnr, I am sure we will be hearing alot from him in the future, he was outstanding.

Bitches Brew Radio -Tuesday March 25th 2008

Both Guitarist Charlie Hunter and Drummer Cindy Blackman will be visiting our shores in May for the Melbourne International Jazz Festival.

I will be speaking to David Witham later in the week about his new album, so we will hear a little from that.

Some great music form Japanese band Trix and also guitarist Koichi Yabori, plus more from The Suitcase

Bitches Brew Radio-Clarke Duke Project and Lee Ritenour Tuesday March 18th

Tonight we have a special on both acts that are coming to Melbourne as part of the East Coast Blues and Roots Festival in Byron Bay.

These two sideshows will be of most interest to fans of Fusion Music.

Firstly and interview by Steve Robertson with George Duke, plus lots of music from the Clarke Duke Project.

This band will be performong at The Prince Bandroom on Monday March 24th

Santana Band In Melbourne

Carlos Santana and his amazing band played Melbourne last week.

I felt this concert was better than his last outing.

The music was great and the band was really on it. There was a lot more jamming and soloing and Carlos was really letting members of his band go for it. The vibe of the show was very positive, with everyone on stage looking like they were have a great time

It was a real privilege to be able to hang with Benny Reitveld and rhythm guitarist Tommy Anthony after the show, they really are great players and genuinely nice guys… it was a very enjoyable evening.

Also caught up with monster drummer Dennis Chambers, still cementing his reputation as one of the worlds best drummers.
