Just really enjoying this album again. It’s Extraction on Tone Centre.
Favourite track at the moment is Lucky 7.
Dennis, Victor and Greg are seamless!
Also check out a track called The Good Foot from the album Liminal by Bassist Adam Nitti, this is a funkfest!
Glenn Cannon has just released a new CD-Clockwork.
The album features Luke Howard on Keys, Gavin Pearce on Bass, Tim Wilson on Sax, Danny Farrugia on Drums .
This is quite an ambitious project and truly deserves a listen.

As most of you know I no longer present Bitches Brew on the radio.
I must say I am enjoying the break after 30 years!!
I am planning to look at options after the silly season is over (Christmas)!
In the meantime whilst driving in the country side I was listening to Frank Gambale playing on a two tracks called ”Monkey Wrench” and “Smug” from his album Raison D’Etre featuring Billy Cobham and Ric Fierbracci and Steve Bilman.
I cannot understand why this music is not heard on Jazz programmes in Australia !! A superb Jazz player and also known for his great Rock and Fusion playing, he is ignored in this country, where he comes from!
I guess it is not surprising !
Anyway check it out. Listen to these tracks I would like to hear from you on this blog, what’s your opinion?
Just listening to The Space Animals by Marc Guillermont Trio.
This is a smokin” Fusion CD, at times reminding me of Tribal Tech, Holdsworth and some Zappa too.
The Trio is Marc Guillermont- Guitar, Nicolas Viccaro -Drums and Andres Landon -Bass
Check it out here.
Yes there it is -the final Brew.
Join me and Roy Johnstone tonight as we celebrate 30 years of music that was inspired by Miles’ Bitches Brew.
All music tonight will be dedicated to Miles. His own music, compositions, and covers by other great players.
Please feel free to call in tonight on 613-84151067 and farewell us.
Remember this music will no longer be represented in this country, so take this opportunity to listen to unique sounds.

On the net at www.pbsfm.org.au. If not signed in you will need to sign in add a password and you can listen live from anywhere in the world.

The final Brew !
Yes it is true, Bitches Brew will be off the air on PBSFM 106.7 after October 25th.
The reasons are many, but after 30 years I am unable to secure an accessible place on the Programme Guide, which is unfortunate.
However, there are a few things in the wind so stay tuned to this website!
The only tragedy particularly for Melbourne Radio listeners is that this unique music will not be heard on any other radio station locally.
For tonights show, there will be plenty of favourites, and the tempo will be up….all the way!
Join me tonight at 8 pm on 106.7 PBSFM for Bitches Brew.
