Brett will be playing at Spencers Live (419 Spencer Street, Melbourne) on Thursday night from 8pm with fellow Melbourne musos Gerry Pantazis on Drums, Phil Turcio on keys and Craig Newman on bass. They will be playing a selection of original fusion music, this will defintely be worth the trip.. these are world class players at a brilliant new venue

I will be playing 2 tracks fro the latest Logic release- Native Strut.

Also featuring a track from a new local release from Glen Cannon and Nick Freer “Avatar Hands”

As a special treat and definitely an Australian exclusive, I will play something from the pre-release preview of the new Yellowjackets CD “Life Cycle” released on the Heads Up label, featuring my good friend Mike Stern

A recent visitor to Melbourne as part of the Byron Bay Music Festival, Lee took time to speak to me about his incredible career and up coming projects.

From his first sessions with the Mamas and the Papas at the age of 16 Lee has gone on to feature on over 3000 sessions. A legend in the Jazz guitar world he has received 17 Grammy nominations, won a Grammy and been voted #1 guitarist in many polls. He has played with Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Dave Grusin, Herbie Hancock, Dizzy Gillespie and even Pink Floyd.
